May 12, 2017 (Irving, TX) Anovia Payments, a disruptive payments solution provider based in Dallas, has taken home the prestigious ISO of the Year Award at the Electronic Transactions Association’s (ETA) annual payments industry gathering, TRANSACT 2017.
The ISO of the Year Award, one of nine STAR Awards given by the membership of the payments technology’s global trade association, recognizes the company (independent sales organization in industry parlance) “whose actions move the payments industry forward, exhibits high ethical standards, and has successfully met industry challenges with demonstrated results” during the previous year. The ISO of the Year Award and other STAR Awards represent the results of an industry-wide peer nomination survey conducted by ETA leadership.
Founded in 2013 by payments industry veterans, Chief Executive Officer Kevin Jones and Executive Vice President of Sales Andy Meadows, the young history of Anovia Payments has been defined by a balanced approach to revenue generation and risk management, with a focus on setting industry standards for customer service, strategic partnerships, and innovative technology integration to support both its strategic partners and over 10,000 merchant customers. Anovia continues to grow rapidly with international presence in Canada and a spring 2017 launch in Australia, with operations in Sydney led by General Manager, Hollie Jones.
Anovia’s 2016 ISO of the Year Award at comes on the heels of the company’s 2014 Rising Star Award from the ETA membership. The 2014 recognition was the result of the company’s rapid growth while remaining attentive to service and process integrity.
With credit processing in the trillions of dollars globally and a growing number of every transaction featuring an electronic payment method, the merchant services arena is fast becoming both more competitive and globalized. Despite its relative youth, the rise of Anovia Payments is exemplary of these trends by offering custom technology platforms, processing services, and payment solutions for its sales channel partners and the small and medium-sized merchant market.
According to CEO Kevin Jones, the 2016 ISO of the Year Award represents a bold step forward for the Anovia team. “Our team continues to inspire me every day with the attentive, consultative service they offer to our customers and partners,” said Jones, who has spent nearly two decades leading and transforming multiple payments industry companies, with stops at Chase Paymentech, First American Payment Systems, and SignaPay. “When you couple that human element with the embrace of leading-edge technology, anything can happen. We are humbled by this highest recognition, and on behalf of our staff and board of directors, as well as our strategic partners and global merchant network, I would like to thank the members of the ETA for this award.”
